Re: AllBootDisks ISO Image Downloads

I'm running a MacBook Pro with Apple's Leopard OS (10.5.3). I'm also using VMware Fusion, but am having trouble getting the ISO images of some operating systems to boot when it starts the virtual machine for installation. I'm looking to setup a virtual machine for MS-DOS 6.22a, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, and XP Professional SP2.

I own licenses for all of them, and I also have my original XP discs. Setting that virtual machine was no problem. However, my original discs for DOS and Windows are LONG gone, and were on floppy anyway...which, of course, I don't have a drive for anymore :)

So I downloaded the files of the original discs for both systems from http://www.vetusware.com/, a site for "abandonware downloads"...there's some good stuff in there. :)

At any rate, I now have a single ISO file for all the discs that made up the MS-DOS 6.22A system, and another single ISO file for all the discs from Windows for Workgroups 3.11. Neither of them are bootable, so VMware hasn't been able to get them installed. Hence, I arrived here, looking for a way to make this happen.

I downloaded your boot disc for MS-DOS 6.22a, and it boots up just fine in VMware. But now what?! How can boot from your ISO disc, and then run the setup file on another ISO file, or otherwise merge the two?

Unfortunately everything I've tried hasn't worked, so I'm hoping for some step-by-steps on how to do this. I'm fairly technical, so I can follow-along without needing a dumbed down rendition, but I would really appreciate a solid shove in the right direction.
