I have XP Pro on a Del 3000 desktop. I made the mistake of leaving a Vista instalation disk in the cd tray and my kids booted it. Now I cant start it - no matter what boot options I try to configure it gets an NTFS boot error.

Unfortunately I cant get it to boot from the XP Pro cd either - even when I play with all the BIOS settings like boot from CD only/first! One commentator said XP wont boot if there are multiple partitions - and Dell always installs an extra recovery partition (which I cant read since its NTFS).

Any ideas would be appreciated?
