On December 16th, 2008 AllBootDisks Visitor (not verified) says:

"Microsoft Says this is illegal." ???????? Once I buy any version of Windows I am entitled to install it on any medium I choose, including a USB drive. I am also entitled to make as many backups as I deem necessary. Are they saying that I can't install Windows on a USB card? If that is the case can I even install it on my hard drive? What about these new laptops that don't have mechanical hard drives but have electronic storage instead? I am not trying to pirate, hack, sell or otherwise cut into Microsoft's huge profits but rather make my computer mine and not theirs. There is nothing in the license agreement that limits the medium upon which the operating system is installed.
