Yes there is! I have test applications and other applications I have written that are on older floppies and run under specific OS versions. I have an old IBM-PC that I still use for test purposes and it has PC-DOS 2.11, an old HP 90MHZ pentium with Compaq MS-DOS 3.31 and a Clone with MS-DOS 6.22.

I have problems with XP reading the old discs and especially when some of these are very old. The older DOSs will force a read where Windows won't.

Networking also isn't a problem but I use both a Novell server and a Windows server the older machines use the Novell server for files and so do my newer windows machines through the windows server. This allows me to move my old applications source code where I can work and convert my best stuff to Windows.

I still love the dos prompt!!
