It depends on what you want to do and how much ram you have. If you want to take a little longer at boot up, but have the DOS tools available quicker after that, the RAM drive disk is it. It will take up about 2 megs of ram.

Most of the the same tools are on the non-ram disk, which will boot quicker, but then the tools have to load from the floppy, with command com on the floppy, which is slower,
