I am after a legal copy of WinXP myself-I bought my computer used from a repair shop. It has a validated XP installation and has the Microsoft product key sticker on the case, so I may be able to order a replacement disk set so I can reinstall XP. I hope not to buy a retail XP box but who knows?

Why would anyone be so crazy as to trust a pirated copy of XP? I agree, Linux is the prefered option vs. buying the full retail box of XP! (Only use XP if you have programs that don't have Linux equalivants.)
