Re: Get a Windows XP Boot Disk

In most cases, you'll be able to boot on any computer with any operating system using the above CD. But ofcourse, with Windows XP you're not able to read the Hard-Drive, because it is normally a special format called NTFS. This Hard-Drive File Format is copyrighted by Microsoft.

What I advise, is to get a Windows boot disk, and edit the ISO using a free piece of software called MagicISO (for example) and get an NTFS reader for DOS, and place this program on the disk and to load up automatically by adding a new command in the AUTOEXEC.BAT (Batch file) to load it up automatically.

Then you'll have a book CD that'll read Windows XP / 2000 and ALL format drives under the DOS and Microsoft series.
