I just recently loaded SP3 on my Compaq Presario, with Windows XP Home Edition. Do you have a boot-up disk for that? My computer came from my niece, and didn't have the recovery disks. I tried making my own set, but it said I needed 7 disks, my first disk got stuck in the drive, and after quite a bit of effort I managed to get it out. Now I'm worried about the other disks getting stuck also.
My computer only has 1/8 the maximum RAM, 128MB on a maximum 1024 MB RAM. Right now I don't have money for a new drive or anything else. I have a whole stack of CD-R disks, of which one has the first part of recovery on it. The rest haven't been used. I'm just concerned that I may not be able to complete my recovery disks. I'd love to be able to get the rest of the memory installed, because despite a DSL connection, my computer can be slow. And I just did some maintenence on it.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
