Hello, I have a problem. I have installed the boot disk of windows 2000 professional that you upload in these web page. And after I installed all, it says me that I have to introduce the Windows 2000 CD-ROM and I haven´t that CD. Please could you tell me what I have to do now?

Hi,
These disks only allow you to boot into the Windows 2000 installation mode. If you would like to actually install or repair Windows 2000, you will need a Windows 2000 CD-ROM. You should have received one with your computer, and if you do not have a Windows 2000 CD, you might find one on eBay.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that if you boot from an XP installation disk the repair consol would only allow you to access the Windows folder and would provide a limited range of commands. If this is so then is it also true if booting from the NT and 2000 CDs?
Has anyone provided boot disks for 2000 or XP on the web that would allow you unrestricted access to a NTFS partition and with a complete range of commands and consol programs available? I expect that you would have to pay a license fee to Microsoft in order to provide such a product, so I don't suppose it could be offered gratis.
This is an excellent site. Well designed and easy to navigate. Some technical information about the boot disks would be helpful. Like what is the difference between the DOS in Millienum and 98SE for instance.

I have several dell computers that have pro 2000 on them and all come up in windows login with password,I did not get any software disc with these computers,does anyone know of a way to bypass or turn off the login without the proper password,

Hi, I acquired a Compaq Deskpro EN with Windows 2000 Pro. that comes up in Windows login with password. I do not have any software for this system. Can someone tell me how to bypass this login. I would like to use this system on the internet.

try to boot this sytem with 'OPHCRACK'
it is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables. This is a new variant of Hellman's original trade-off, with better performance. It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.

download about 400 to 700 mb or more, depend how many tables you'll need.
dowmload the ISO-image and burn it to CD-ROM
if this ist too sophisticated, try a linux-tool which will not decrypt the password, but makes you able to set a new one.

hi! i have problem with my system the could not proceed with windows cause of improper shutdown, then after that the system appear in blue screen and need to be CHKDSK, but the problem is i havent tools for that, could you help me to find that. tnx
