MS-DOS versions?

Apparently it seems this site has forgotten the existence of MS-DOS version 7,
version 7.1 and version 8.0.
Have a look at the wikipedia MS-DOS page.
It doesn't seem neccesary to add seperate bootdisks for this versions, but a small note on the case couldn't be bad.

I think that AllBootDisks should look through not just the 6.22 disk, not just all DOS disks, but ALL disks they give out for bugs like that =) (no offense to you guys at allbootdisks)

Just download a boot disk and use format.com to erase the disk. If you want to keep the files but still install Windows XP, just insert the Windows XP CD and boot from it. Then upgrade! Hope this helps! :-)

It's actually rather simple.

Just boot from your XP CD. When you reach the screen that lists the current partition(s), delete the one that contains Vista (select it, press D, press ENTER, press L)and then press C to create a new partition to install XP on. Using DOS probably won't work because Vista comes on large hard drives that use the NTFS filing system which is unsupported by DOS.

Just wondering if you have tried this.. i cant get it to work but i am not to great with computers. Vista has become a nightmare to uninstall and i still havent figured out how. I tried downloading multiple boot disks so i dont log into windows and hoped to get to a dos prompt so i could format the drive with vista on it. I get no where.. any ideas how to get vista off my computer or how to even get to a dos prompt so i can format the drive? i tried using the windows XP cd to get into the repair console but i get a stop screen for some error codes and i cant get to the point i can format.

HELP! if you have anything i will try it.. oh and i dont have a floppy drive HA! possible to burn a CD and change boot sequence?

You probably have newest computer with SATA hard drive. To see that hard drive you need drivers for old OSs (including XP). You can download Linux free OS from different places. Usually they have all required drivers. But it is different story...
